Summer Vacation Skiing in Valle Nevado, Chile

Lately, a lot of people asked me which ski resorts we offer to our guests. It is hard to answer since we can get you ANYWHERE! However, our website shows you a great overview of the resorts we have been focussing most on.

Lately though we learned a lot about new ski resorts which we will present to you soon. Get excited! There are some really cool ‘new’ resorts we are excited to work with.

The one I believe might be most interesting for you at this time is Valle Nevado in Chile. They are opening soon and it is a really cool resort.  If you are sad that the season just ended, stop being sad and head over there. A true ‘summer vacation’ ski experience! Bring your kids since they will be out of school anyways!

With nearly 7,000 acres of terrain, Valle Nevado is not only South America’s largest ski resort but it is also the most modern one.  Only 37 miles (90 min) from Santiago airport, it is easily accessible from major US airports such as LA, Miami, New York, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta. Being located in the same time zone as New York makes it easy. Plus, the strong dollar makes Chile travel affordable and no visa is needed. How cool is that? Plus, they get powder that lasts for days.

There are several great lodging options in Valle Nevado: Hotel Valle Nevado, ski in/out, great for upscale travelers with views of the Andean or the resort. Breakfast and a lunch buffet are included in your stay. Puerta del Sol Hotel, just a one minute walk from the slopes, is a mid range hotel for families, couples or groups of friends. Hotel Tres Puntas, just a 2 minute walk from the slopes, is ideal for budget travelers.

Valle Nevado offers an array of dining options including French, International and Chilean food, and non-skiing activities (Spa & Fitness Center, shopping, kids zone, movie theater, skate ramp, trampoline, etc.)

If you want us to get you there, call us today (866-981-SNOW) cause don’t forget: even in the summer you can think SNOW!

Enjoy your week,

Janine
