The 10 best ski resorts in North America

Most ski resorts this year opened early with lots of snowfall! Yayy!
Recently, I came across this article on a German website called welt.de about the 10 best ski resorts in North America that I would like to share with you

1. Vail/Beaver Creek, CO
With Vail’s ‘Back Bowls’ and ‘Blue Sky Basin’, they call it the ‘American way of skiing’ whereas Beaver Creek is your family resort with an ice skating ring and cookies after the slopes

2. Whistler, BC, Canada
Lots of snow, rapid slopes, heli-skiing and countless hotels, restaurants and bars

3. Aspen, CO
Four different ski areas (Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands) plus a ‘real’ town with bars, restaurants, shops, etc.

4. Revelstoke, BC, Canada
Lots of snowfall, offering heli-skiing and cat skiing

5. Telluride, CO
The most beautiful ski town for most visitors with amazing views

6. Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
Located in a national park, close to Banff, you get a panoramic view of Lake Louise from the top of the mountain

7. Jackson Hole, WY
“Steep and deep” with amazing views of the ‘Rendevouz Bowl”

8. Big Sky, Montana
Small resort close to Yellowstone National Park

9. Heavenly, CA
Close to Lake Tahoe and Nevada, you get to ski but also enjoy the casinos

10. Park City – Canyons – Deer Valley, UT
The biggest ski resort (Park City and Canyons) after they spent millions to connect the two mountains. Deer Valley is just a short drive away.
